A To-Do List of a Newbie Housewife
My husband and I have been married for almost two years now. We are proud to have our own humble place in the city that we call home. Hubby works full time while I do freelance writing from our house. Quite a nice setup! :)
But lately I have been wanting to do more freelance work. I kinda miss working in a magazine. (Ohh! I was working in one of the most known magazines here in the Philippines. I loved every bit of it until I got burned out.) Writing articles and doing photo shoots were the main parts of the job. I do miss it! That’s also the reason why I started this blog in first place. To write and practice my photography skills (see more photos on my other blog: here.) Every day, if I can!
Let me share with you my current to-do list:
- Find househelp who’ll come and visit our house once a week.
- Find a lady to iron our clothes. Also once a week.
- Do laundry in the morning. To catch the sun. In the afternoons, it rains.
- Clear clutter around the house for 15 minutes every day.
- Clean the entire house while looking for help.
- Order drinking water.
- Encode monthly receipts in excel file. (I have a backlog of 2 months’ worth!!!)
- Check if husband needs to pay any bills before their due date.
I never thought, in my early years, I’ll be having this kind of list. Serious stuff for me! We don’t have a baby, yet (still in the works!). But I can imagine more serious things will later land on my list when the stork pays us a visit.

Hello Tumblr!…again!
Yup! I had to delete my other xampicks tumblr blog because I realized I cannot follow nor like other tumblr peeps. So here I’m starting again from scratch.
I do need to write every day on this blog. That promise still holds. I just feel bad because I already had 2 followers from my previous blog.
Anyway, I’ll be right back soon!
